Event Description
A 4-round Swiss tournament on chess.com with time control: G/60;+5. R1: 8:30AM, R2: 11AM, R3: 1:30PM, R4: 4PM (PST) Event is Chess.com Rated. Sections and prizes (Open has limited play-up seats). Open: $100- $70- $30 PNWCC TDs will make pairing based on the highest of FIDE, USCF and USCF Online rating. PNWCC TDs will start games for players. Player should log-in the chess.com account and wait at https://www.chess.com/play/online on time. Forfeit for 30 minutes late in R1 and 20 minutes late in R2-R4. All bye requests should be submitted in check-in. Bye requests will not be accepted in the tournament day. PNWCC Fair Play Agreement and Rules with the following enhancements. Must join ZOOM meeting (register and sign-in to see the link) with full name in English. Must use a camera to show the player face completely. Must use an angled camera to cover player and all computer screens. Exception must be approved by PNWCC. Must share the full screen (not just share the web browser). Must turn on Zoom audio. Player can leave for restroom only when it is not his/her move. The games will be submitted to chess.com for fair play checking. After checking is done, prizes will be sent out.
