Fair Play Rules |

By registering for a PNWCC chess event, players agree to follow the fair play agreement terms in accordance with maintaining the highest possible standards of ethics and fair play during my online chess games.
- I promise to not use a cell phone, chess engine, or seek any kind of outside assistance during my games.
- If my online account(s) get closed due to fair-play violations, I will have to return all the prize money I earned from PNWCC events, regardless if I violated the fair-play rules in the PNWCC events or not. If I do not return the prize money,
- PNWCC can publicly announce that my account gets closed for fair-play violation.
- Players who break the agreement will face forfeiture of their games, expulsion from the tournament, and sanctions by PNWCC
- I promise to follow the enhanced fair play rules in PNWCC online tournament.
- I will use the program ZOOM in order to be monitored via webcam when required.
- I understand that my games may be checked by Chess.com or lichess.orgβs Fair Play team for signs of fair play violations.
- The games of all prize winners will be certified by PNWCC's Fair Play Committee
- PNWCC has the sole right to interpret the results of the online tournament games.

GM Nyzhnyk, Illia [USCF 2722 | FIDE 2654] and GM Hakobyan, Aram [USCF 2692 | FIDE 2620] will visit Seattle and give two hours of lectures in Microsoft Building 99 lecture hall on following topics -
1. 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM Decision Making in Critical Positions - by GM Nyzhnyk, Illia
2. 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM High Precision Endgame - by GM Hakobyan, Aram
ZOOM will be provided for registered and paid players if not available to participate in person.
After the lectures, we will take a 30-min break and the event will continue with a 9-round FIDE rated over-the-board blitz tournament with 3+2 time control, in Microsoft Cafe 99. The two guest GM's will not play each other so to give local players more opportunities to play GM's. The prizes of the blitz tournament is gtd $300 - $150 - $100- $50.
