Fair Play Rules |
: |
By registering for a PNWCC chess event, players commit to upholding the highest standards of ethics and fair play in both online and over-the-board (OTB) games. Players agree not to use cell phones, chess engines, or any form of external assistance during their games. If a player's online account is closed due to fair play violations, they must return all prize money won in PNWCC events. Violations of this agreement may result in game forfeiture, expulsion from the tournament, and sanctions imposed by PNWCC. During online tournaments, players must adhere to PNWCC's enhanced fair play rules, including using Zoom for monitoring via webcam when required. All games will be reviewed by Chess.com or Lichess.org's Fair Play teams for potential violations, and prize-winning games will be certified by PNWCC’s Fair Play Committee. PNWCC reserves the sole right to interpret the results of online tournament games. |
