Help Topic : 2. Why do I need to get my organizer account verified before I can use NACH services?
Anyone can create an organizer account on NA Chess Hub as long as they know your affiliate ID, which is public information. Imagine a bad guy creates an account on behalf of a club, and then publishes a fake event to collect hundreds of dollars of entry fees. Then on the event day, players show up for this fake event and the organizer and TD don't, and will never show up .....
To prevent this from happening, NA Chess Hub will verify organizer accounts through a online or in person meeting and check the organizer's ID to make sure the organizer account and its email, phone number, PayPal etc. are all legitimate before an organizer can start organizing events using NACH.
