Help Topic : 2. Why do I need a SendGrid API Key?
Email delivery, especially sending email blast to hundreds of players is a non-trivial task. Such emails have the nature of spamming, and many times are being blocked by email providers or marked as spam.
SendGrid is a cloud-based email delivery service that helps businesses send marketing, transactional, and notification emails reliably and at scale. NACH is leveraging SendGrid for email delivery to make sure our emails will successfully reach the intended recipients.
To use the service of SendGrid, you will need to -
1. Register account on SendGrid
2. Pass their rigid validation of your identity and DNS domain ownership.
3. Then you can create a API key and share it with us by editing your Organizer Profile.
Only after that, you will be able to use the email marketing features, along with other email features such as sending emails to your subscribers, sending emails to players of your events conveniently from NACH.
