Three winners of the Premier Section will receive an invitation to the MA Girls' Invitational Championship to compete to represent MA in the 2025 Ruth Haring National Girls Tournament of Champions. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each section. Official
February ratings are used for pairings Open
to girls in grades K-12. The premier section is restricted to students rated 800 and above. Sections may be combined. Additional $15 discount for first-time players in a USCF-rated tournament in the Under 1000 section, contact Kateryna at βkaterynaodnorozhenko@βyahoo.com to register. Both
Sections are open to out-of-state players All
electronic devices must be turned off completely and stored out of sight.
Players are forbidden to have electronic devices on them at any time during the
game In
the interest of the players, no spectators are allowed in the playing hall when
games are in progress Penalties are at the discretion of the TD and may include reducing the remaining time of the offending player or declaring the game to be lost by the offender
MA Girls' Invitational Championship will be a 6-player round-robin. 3 players from this qualifier + last yearβs winner+2 top rated (official
