Description : The London System provides a solid and versatile setup for White. It is often determined by the moves d4, Nf3, Bf4, e3, and can be used against almost any opening from Black. The London System has stood the test of time at all levels. GM Kamsky has employedย this opening regularly for more than a decade. Theย Londonย System has been picked up and studied heavily in the past few years by several top level Grand Masters such as Jobava, Rapport, Aronian, and also the world champion Magnus Carlsen, who scored many important and beautiful victories with it. Thanks to those efforts, the London System has become a very popular opening that deserves serious attention.

The London System is especially suited for players who want to invest the least amount of time to study a system-based opening that leads to a safe and playable position for White. Although the amount of theory in the London System is significantly less than that of other openings, there are still many positional nuances and tactical traps that any chess player must be awareย of. In many cases, White's position is not objectively better, but slightly easier to play with good attacking chances against the Black's king.

The goal of this camp is to build a complete repertoire for White to play the London System successfully against the most common setups from Black. Super GM Liem Le will share his recommendations and top level analysis that he uses in his own games. A PGN file will be sent to the students after each class.

Two Practice blitz will be organized for free to students.
